Our team receives a consistent income. Most of our employees earn a salary – even when the week is light, your paycheck is not. Other employees are paid hourly but, again, are paid for a full 40-hour week, no matter what.
There is a 60-day probationary period to see if you and Sherd are a fit. If you work honestly and hard, you will see quick raises. Remember, it’s guaranteed pay – that’s comfort and security for you and your family, despite any weather or project issues that may limit the hours you and the team can work.

We’re Hiring Construction Laborers!
Sherd Construction and Associates LLC, located in Hamilton, MI, seeks to fill 2-3 Full Time positions to perform construction-related work. This may include all or some of the following tasks: framing, siding, decks, additions, pole buildings, windows and doors, new construction, remodeling etc.
No experience is necessary as on-site training is available but if applicants have experience in the residential construction field, this will effect their value and reflecting pay scale. The right candidate will have knowledge in rough framing, be able to decipher simple math equations, read blueprints and have the ability to problem solve in a team environment. Having the ability to work in a team environment, be professional and have adequate transportation to and from work is a must! Our job sites are located mainly from Grand Haven and south to South Haven along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Due to frequently changing job sites, transportation is an absolute must!
Founded in 2012, Sherd Construction and Associates LLC is a well-rounded, family owned construction company who enjoys taking pride in every aspect of the job. Our motto is we aren’t finished until the customer is happy. We intend on continuing and upholding this level of work and need to extend our employee bullpen to do so.
